Running Club
Garden Road Running Club is off and running! Be sure to wear appropriate shoes and
comfortable clothing to participate during recess! Let’s get moving!
Garden Road students in grades TK through 5 are encouraged to join the PTA sponsored Running Club. Every week day throughout the year, dependent on volunteer coverage, students can choose to run on our school’s track before school, or if in TK or K with their teacher during the school day. Students earn awards throughout the school year based on their laps run (5 laps = 1 mile). Running Club is not mandatory, however it is encouraged.
Running Club sponsorship is a work in progress. If you would like to make a donation, please contact Lora, Bethany, or the GRES office.
